Gerry Sheridan’s company GMS is the main distributor for the Icynene brand here in Ireland. Prior to discovering Icynene Gerry recognised the benefits of combining the concept of good insulation coupled with a need for air tightness in buildings. Foam insulation achieves this objective. The principal is simple; two chemical agents are combined in-situ to form an airtight insulation material called foam insulation. GMS originally planned, in 2005, to target the Irish market only. But, now, due to their successes here in Ireland with the Icynene brand they have since expanded into the foam insulation business in the UK.
